The Friendships That Go Beyond the Willard Peak Campground

One of the things we work hardest at in our workamping journey is staying truly connected with our RV guests. Not just surface-level interactions—but real, meaningful connections.

And every once in a while, something special happens…
Guests become more than guests. They become family.

🌟 The Ones You Never Forget

The three incredible people in this photo each came into our lives as RV guests—but they left as lifelong friends.

Wayne was, at first, a true introvert. He kept to himself and didn’t really connect with others in the park. But something changed after he met Evielynne. Slowly but surely, that quiet presence turned into a social butterfly.

He started:

  • Participating in events
  • Volunteering for setups and takedowns
  • Helping move RVs during the 90-day park shuffle

Watching that transformation was something we’ll never forget.

Wayne, Sharon & Amanda

💪 Strong Women, Strong Stories

Then there’s Sharon and Amanda—a mother and daughter duo who each had their own RV, yet shared an incredible bond.

Amanda is one of the strongest people we’ve met. She went through some really tough work environments where she wasn’t treated the way she deserved—but she didn’t let that stop her.

Instead, she:

  • Invested in EMT training
  • Gave it her all
  • And kept pushing forward

Today, she’s thriving in a new job—and we couldn’t be prouder.

Sharon, her mom, has always been a steady and loving presence. Together, they brought warmth and strength to our campground community.

💔 The Hard Part of This Life

Here’s something people don’t always understand about being on-site managers:

You don’t always get to have “friends” in your park.

You’re:

  • The rule enforcer
  • The problem solver
  • The one handling difficult situations and gossip

So when genuine friendships do form… they mean everything.

That’s why saying goodbye hits hard.

  • Wayne has moved into a senior apartment
  • Sharon and Amanda moved out of state to a place with more affordable living
  • And Amanda is now flourishing in her new chapter

We’re so happy for them…
But we miss them deeply.

❤️ Grateful Beyond Words

Even though they’re no longer in the park, what we built didn’t end when they left.

That’s the beauty of real connection.

If you’re reading this—we want you to know:

👉 We love you.
👉 We are so grateful for you.
👉 And our friendship will always continue, no matter the miles between us.

✨ A ME Gone RVing Adventures Friendship Quote

“In the RV life, paths may change and roads may separate—but the friendships built around campfires, laughter, and shared moments will always find their way back to the heart.”

A perfect gift to give a friend who's RV'd a lot

Fun Isn’t Optional—It’s Our Mission at Willard Peak Campground as their Workampers

We don’t care what anyone says—we ARE fun.

And not just a little fun… we’re talking FUN – FUN – FUN all summer long here at Willard Peak Campground.

Workamping isn’t just a job to us—it’s something we pour our hearts into every single day. And if you’ve ever stayed with us, you already know… we don’t do boring.

Get your own BINGO SHIRTS

🌞 Summer 2026: The “FUN – FUN – FUN” Season

This summer, we made a decision:
We’re turning the energy all the way up.

That means:

  • More events
  • More laughs
  • More community
  • And yes… more personality

Evielynne even went all-in and started grabbing fun-themed outfits to match the vibe of each event. Because if you’re going to host something… you might as well be part of the experience, right?

🛒 Grocery Bingo: The Crowd Favorite

Let’s talk about the star of the show—Grocery Bingo Night.

It’s hands-down one of the most popular events in the park. And honestly… we get why.

  • 💰 Chance to win $50 off rent (BLUEOUT Game)
  • 🛍️ Groceries as prizes (and let’s be real—who doesn’t need that right now?)
  • 🎉 A room full of laughter, energy, and friendly competition

And here’s something we stand by:

👉 Everyone goes home a winner. ALWAYS.

That’s not by accident—that’s by design.

Because it’s not just about prizes… it’s about creating a space where people connect, laugh, and feel like they belong.

👕 Let’s Talk About That Shirt…

We have to say it—Mark absolutely rocked his themed shirt like a king at this last event. 😂

Evielynne’s didn’t arrive in time (don’t you hate when that happens?), but don’t worry… she’s locked and loaded for the next Grocery Bingo Night in May, and it’s going to be even better.

💡 Here’s the Honest Truth About Events

What most people don’t see behind the scenes is this:

Events like these take:

  • Time
  • Money
  • Planning
  • Energy

And we do it because we genuinely care about the experience our guests have.

So here’s our encouragement to anyone staying at an RV park—not just ours:

👉 Participate in the events. Show up. Be part of it.

Because when you do:

  • You help build the community
  • You support the people putting it together
  • And you end up having way more fun than you expected

❤️ Why We Do It

We don’t host events because we have to.

We do it because we love seeing:

  • New friendships form
  • Laughter echo through the park
  • Guests turn into family

That’s what makes all the effort worth it.

🎯 Final Thought from Me Gone RVing Adventures

If you’re staying at Willard Peak Campground this summer…

Don’t just park your RV.

👉 Join the fun. Be part of the memory.

Because around here, we’re not just running a campground—
we’re creating experiences you’ll never forget.

The Truth Behind “They Must Be Rich” RVing is EXPENSIVE

There’s this funny assumption people sometimes make when they see our life:

“Wow… they must be rich.”

Honestly? That one always makes us laugh.

Let’s set the record straight.

🚐 Full-Time Work… Just to Cover Life

Yes, we have a full-time job as on-site managers at Willard Peak Campground. And we’re incredibly grateful for it. But that income? It goes straight to the basics:

  • Gas
  • Groceries
  • Propane
  • Cell phones
  • Medical expenses

You know… real life.

And here’s the part most people don’t see—we work 7 days a week for that. No clocking out, no “weekends off.” It’s a lifestyle, not just a job.

🔁 The Side Hustle Reality

If we stopped there, we wouldn’t make it. So like many people trying to stay ahead, we hustle.

Our additional income streams include:

  • Cleaning the sauna
  • Running our Traveling Town Crier business
  • Affiliate links, promos, cashback apps, GPT (Get Paid To) apps
  • And yes… plasma donations

Only Mark can donate plasma (Evielynne is medically disqualified), and even that comes with its own challenges.

🩸 The Truth About Plasma Income

Let’s talk real numbers.

Mark donates twice a week and earns about:

  • $40 for one visit
  • $90 for the second

➡️ Total: $130 per week

That might sound helpful—and it is—but it’s far from life-changing.

Plasma donation takes 1–2 hours per visit, and it’s not always smooth. When a technician misses a vein, it can lead to bruising and recovery time… which means lost income for weeks.

So while plasma helps, it’s not guaranteed, and it’s definitely not easy money.

Poor Mark

🔨 Where That Money Actually Goes (ME Gone RVing Adventures)

We’re not splurging. We’re building.

That plasma money? It’s going straight into our 5th wheel renovation—turning an older RV into our long-term home.

And if you’ve ever renovated anything, you know how fast money disappears:

  • A single can of paint? $60
  • Supplies? Add up instantly

On top of that:

  • Sauna job income goes into Roots Investments (future security)
  • Bills like streaming services and phones are paid years in advance
  • We keep emergency funds to protect our future

Why? Because RV life can be unpredictable. Jobs can disappear overnight.

🛡️ We Don’t Trust Easy Stability

We’ve learned the hard way—this lifestyle requires preparation.

So we:

  • Pre-pay bills
  • Save aggressively
  • Diversify income streams
  • Build long-term investments

Not because we’re rich…
But because we refuse to be caught off guard again.

❤️ The Real Truth

We’re not rich.

We’re resourceful.
We’re disciplined.
And we work extremely hard for everything we have.

Every dollar has a job. Every side hustle has a purpose.

And when people support us by clicking an affiliate link or engaging with our content—it truly means more than you know. We started being smarter with  BOOK and it's not from Dave Ramsey either!!

🙌 Final Thought

Do we wish for a pay raise and a little breathing room?

Absolutely.

But until then, we’ll keep doing what we do best:
Working hard, staying ahead, and building a future we can count on.

Start your INVESTMENTS TODAY - We did!!

A Personal Reflection on The Freedom of Forward Self-Help Book by Morgan Richard Olivier

Book club always brings a mix of surprises, and this time, our pick—The Freedom of Forward by Morgan Richard Olivier—was definitely one of those reads that hits deeper than expected.

This poetry and prose collection is designed to help readers move beyond emotional, mental, and even spiritual roadblocks. It focuses on releasing pain, trauma, and people-pleasing habits in order to step into healing, self-acceptance, and purpose. And honestly? It delivers on that promise.

A Beautiful—but Deeply Personal—Read

There’s no denying the power behind this book. The writing is raw, vulnerable, and insightful. Morgan has a way of putting words to emotions that many of us struggle to articulate. It felt less like reading a book and more like sitting in a quiet, personal therapy session.

And that’s where my mixed feelings came in.

While I truly believe this is an amazing self-help book, I found myself wishing for something lighter for a group setting. I’ve read quite a few self-help books over the years, and this one brought up a lot of personal reflection—maybe even more than I expected.

For me, that kind of emotional deep dive is something I prefer to process privately. I’m just not the type to unpack those feelings openly in a group setting… especially not with tissues in hand.

Where you can purchase
THE FREEDOM OF FOWARD

Not Every Book Fits Every Space

That doesn’t take away from how impactful this book is—it just highlights something important:
Not every powerful book is meant for every environment.

This book is perfect for:

  • Personal growth journeys
  • Quiet reflection time
  • Deep emotional processing
  • One-on-one or solo reading experiences

But for a book club where you’re looking for something fun, light, or discussion-friendly? It might feel a bit heavy.

The Message That Stands Out

At its core, The Freedom of Forward reminds us that before we can truly move forward—with confidence, peace, and purpose—we have to face what’s been holding us back.

It challenges readers to:

  • Release pride and people-pleasing
  • Let go of trauma and past pain
  • Work through anger, condemnation, and offense
  • Embrace peace, wisdom, love, and personal growth

It’s about uncovering the strength within us to heal and move forward with intention.

Final Thoughts

This is one of those books I would absolutely recommend—but with the right setting in mind.

If you’re looking for something that will challenge you, stretch you, and help you reflect on your own life… this book is worth every page.

But if you’re planning your next book club pick and hoping for something fun, lighthearted, and easy to chat about—you may want to save this one for a more personal reading experience.

Stepping Outside the Box: Our 5th Wheel RV Gets a Bold New Look

When it comes to remodeling our 5th wheel, we’ve learned one thing—if you’re going to live in a space full-time, it should feel like you. And this next upgrade? Ohhh… this one is definitely a statement piece.

I’m so excited to finally share the sample of the wall design we’ve chosen, and yes… it’s a little on the expensive side. But sometimes you just know when something is right, and this is one of those moments.

Why We Chose 3D Faux Stone Wall Panels

We’re going with 3D faux stone wall panels, and let me tell you—they bring an entirely new level of texture and depth into a space. Instead of a flat, typical RV wall, this creates a bold, high-end look that instantly elevates the entire interior.

These panels are perfect for accent walls, TV backdrops, or even creating a cozy focal point in a small space like an RV. And since we’re all about making our home-on-wheels feel unique, this fits our vision perfectly.

Wanna see the price tag?

Built for RV Life (and Real Life!)

One of the biggest wins for us is that these panels aren’t just pretty—they’re practical too.

  • Durable & Waterproof: Made from premium PVC, they’re built to handle RV life—humidity, spills, and everyday wear.
  • Washable & Impact-Resistant: Because let’s be real… life (and cats 🐾) happens.
  • Lightweight: A must-have for RV renovations where weight matters.

Perfect for DIY (Yes, I’m Installing It!)

Here’s the part I’m extra proud of—I’ll be installing these myself! 🙌

The interlocking design means:

  • No priming
  • No filling
  • No complicated prep

Just adhesive, placement, and boom—a seamless, professional-looking finish. I love projects that give that “wow” factor without needing a full construction crew.

Designed to Match Our Vision

This wall is going to pair beautifully with our Moscow Midnight kitchen cabinets, and I already know it’s going to tie everything together in such a rich, cozy way.

It’s bold. It’s different. It’s totally outside the box for an RV… and that’s exactly why we’re doing it.

A Surprise Twist… Mark Loves It Too!

Now here’s the real shocker—Mark fell in love with it too! 😂

If you know us, you know getting both of us 100% excited about the same design choice is a win in itself. That’s when you know it’s the right call.

Final Thoughts

At the end of the day, this remodel isn’t just about upgrading materials—it’s about creating a space that feels like home, reflects our personality, and makes us excited to walk through the door every single day.

This faux stone wall? It’s going to be one of those features that stops people in their tracks. And I can’t wait to show you the finished look!

What do you think—would you go bold like this in your RV?

Girls’ Night at the Movies: You, Me & Tuscany (2026) Review + Our Monday Movie Tradition

If you’re looking for the perfect girls’ night movie, let me introduce you to You, Me & Tuscany — a lighthearted, feel-good romance set against the dreamy backdrop of Italy 🇮🇹✨

🎥 Movie Overview

Directed by Kat Coiro and starring Halle Bailey as Anna and Regé-Jean Page as Michael, this romantic comedy follows a young chef navigating grief, healing, and—of course—unexpected love.

Anna, grieving the loss of her mother, takes a spontaneous trip to Italy (honestly… relatable 😅), breaks into a villa, and ends up in a fake engagement situation. From there, sparks fly with the emotionally guarded Michael, leading to a whirlwind romance full of charm, tension, and just the right amount of cheekiness.

🍿 Our Experience at the Theater

We went to the Megaplex Theatres at The Junction on a Monday—which is usually super quiet.

NOT this time. Movie Gift that can be done at HOME

The theater was packed with groups of women, and the energy was amazing. Everyone was chatty (in a fun way!), laughing together, reacting to scenes—it honestly made the movie even better. You could just feel it was a girls’ night kind of film.

Let’s just say… when that shirt came off 👀🔥
The entire room lost it. Ladies, you’ve been warned—bring your husbands at your own risk because you might need help picking your jaw up off the floor 😂

Goofy Husband & Wife

💭 Honest Thoughts

  • Super fun and entertaining
  • 🇮🇹 Italy = absolutely stunning (seriously, we need MORE movies set there!)
  • 💕 Great mix of romance + humor + emotional healing
  • 🎭 A little cheeky—not Oscar-worthy, but that’s not the point

This is one of those movies you go to for:

  • A good laugh
  • A little swooning
  • And a shared experience with your girlfriends

💰 Budget-Friendly Movie Night Win - Next Monday Movie (Corpse Bride)

We LOVE our Monday movie tradition, and this one was a steal:

  • 🎟️ $5 movie special
  • 🍿 Popcorn + drink included
  • 💵 Total: $19.91

You seriously can’t beat that for a full night out.

Megaplex at the Junction

❤️ Life Update + Why These Nights Matter

We try to pre-pay a full month of Monday movies so we always have something to look forward to—and honestly, we need it.

This summer is about to be BUSY.

Mark is heading out on a big RV delivery from Willard to South Dakota (huge blessing 🙏), and we’re in full hustle mode after purchasing our RV. Every extra job helps us rebuild our savings by January 1st—and we’re praying for more opportunities like this.

So these little movie nights?
They’re more than just movies—they’re our reset button.

🎬 Final Recommendation

Grab your girls, wear something fun (we saw themed outfits and LOVED it!), and go see You, Me & Tuscany.

You’ll laugh.
You’ll swoon.
And you’ll leave wishing you were booking a trip to Italy next ✈️🍷

RV Bedroom Makeover: 90% Done & Dreaming Bigger Than Ever

We are officially 90% DONE with bedroom priming!! 🙌🎉

Just a few cabinet doors and some final touch-ups left, and we can move on to the next exciting phase.

Now it’s time to dial in the vision…

👉 Choosing the perfect white accent walls
👉 Adding peelable wallpaper to the main walls
👉 Designing decorative, themed liners for every cabinet drawer

This is where everything starts to come together—and OMG… just WAIT until you see these bedrooms 👀🔥

My husband went from:
“No way…”
to…
“SERIOUSLY?! That is the COOLEST thing ever!” 😂

Mark ripped out the disgusting carpet on the steps

📍 Moving Day = Momentum

We’re getting ready to move our 5th wheel into its permanent spot this week, and I could not be more excited!

Once it’s set, everything about this remodel becomes faster, easier, and more efficient. No more back-and-forth—just full focus on creating something amazing.

BEFORE

📦 30 Amazon Boxes Later…

Let’s talk reality for a second…

I currently have about 30 Amazon boxes filled with beautiful pieces for this RV 😍
Furniture, décor, supplies—you name it.

And yes… we’re already sitting at about $4,000 invested into this renovation (shhhh 🤫 hubby kind of knows).

Thankfully, Traveling Town Crier income has been helping foot the bill, which has been such a blessing.

💰 Yard Sale Goals & Smart Moves

We’ve got a plan to balance things out!

There’s a major community yard sale in May, and I’m hoping to sell at least 50% of what we don’t need to help offset some of these renovation costs.

Because if you know—you know… RV renovations add up FAST.

AFTER

🌱 A Financial Win This Quarter

One of the biggest blessings recently?

Our ROOTS Investment quarterly cash distribution 🙌
We chose to reinvest it, and honestly—it was a total game changer for us this quarter.

It felt like a real step forward, and we’re incredibly grateful for that momentum.

This is the Book that CHANGE our Money situation...

📣 Calling All Brands – We’re Ready!

Now let’s talk about what’s next…

Spring Cleaning at Willard Peak Campground: Hard Work, Gratitude & Growth

Spring is officially here, and with it comes one of the biggest tasks of the season at Willard Peak Campgroundspring cleaning.

This past week kicked things into full gear, and we’ll keep pushing forward until the entire RV park is looking its absolute best. There’s something satisfying about watching a place transform right before your eyes… even if it takes a whole lot of sweat to get there.

🚐 Workamping Life: Doing What It Takes

As workampers, we wear a lot of hats—and sometimes that means using what we’ve got to get the job done.

Now, I’ll be honest…
I don’t love using my personal vehicle for campground work.

But when something needs to get done?
We step up.

That said… my wife is not a fan of the scratches 😅
And I’ve officially made a promise:

👉 The next truck will NOT be used for work.

So for now, this one?
Yep… it’s our “dumpy work truck” lol.

🌳 The Tree Struggle is Real

One of the biggest challenges we face here is managing the trees.

Some of our guests come in with taller rigs, which means we’re often trimming more than we’d like. And here in Utah?

Tree shade is GOLD.

It’s actually one of the most common concerns we hear:

“We wish there were more trees.”

And honestly—they’re right.

Many of the trees here are older, and while they’ve served the campground well, it’s time to start thinking ahead. New growth is essential if we want to keep this place shaded, comfortable, and inviting for years to come.

💛 3.5 Years of Loyalty & Dedication

We’ve now been here for three and a half years, and that means something.

In the workamping world, loyalty and consistency go a long way. Our time here has helped us build a strong RV workamper resume—one that could open doors just about anywhere when the time comes.

But let’s be clear…

👉 We’re not going anywhere right now.
👉 There’s no talk of leaving.

We’re committed to doing our best right here, right now.

At the same time, we understand the reality of this industry:

No position is ever guaranteed.

That’s why we continue to give it our all—every single day.

😉 Know Your Worth

And hey… let’s just say it:

If someone out there is offering $25/hour for management
you might just catch our attention 😄

Because we know the value we bring—and we’re not afraid to say it.

What I used to cut the branches

🌸 A Park in Transformation

Right now, the signs of spring cleaning are everywhere.

  • Trimmed trees
  • Cleaned-up spaces
  • Fresh energy throughout the park

It’s all coming together, and it’s starting to look like the perfect small RV campground right here in Willard.

And we’re proud to be a part of that transformation.

✨ Final Thoughts

Spring cleaning isn’t just about tidying up—it’s about preparing for what’s ahead.

New guests.
New memories.
A new season.

And we’re here for all of it.

Our Sunday Mug Tradition: Coffee, Marriage & New Beginnings

There’s something special about the little routines married couples create together. The quiet, consistent moments that don’t seem like much to anyone else—but to you, they’re everything.

For us, it starts with morning coffee… and our favorite Sunday morning show. It’s our pause button before the week begins. No rush, no noise—just us, coffee in hand, easing into the day.

😂 The Mug That Started It All

Now let’s talk about that mug…

You know the one.
The famous yellow 20 oz mug they keep teasing on the show.

And here’s the funny part…
I actually detest having multiple mugs. Like truly—it drives me bonkers. Too many mugs = chaos in a small RV life 😅

But something about that mug?
It stuck.

🚐 A Big Transition (And Letting Go)

As we head into a big life change, things are shifting in a beautiful way.

At the end of May, we’re donating our RV to a homeless shelter, and with it, we’re leaving behind the items we no longer need—including our current collection of six coffee mugs.

Yep… all of them.

Which means… 👀

💛 Enter: The Sunday Mug Tradition

We get to start fresh.

And this time, we’re doing it our way.

We’re each getting a special “Sunday” mug—one that’s ONLY used on Sundays. Not just inside either…

👉 This mug is for being outside
👉 For breathing fresh air
👉 For slowing down
👉 For creating intentional moments together

This isn’t just a mug—it’s a tradition in the making.

Get your own SUNDAY
mug HERE

🛠️ Business Meets Lifestyle

Now for our everyday mugs? Those we’ll be making ourselves.

As owners of Traveling Town Crier, we have everything we need—heat presses, mug presses, the works. We can design mugs, travel mugs, and more exactly how we want them.

But the Sunday mug?

That one’s different.

That one we’re choosing to buy—something symbolic to mark this new season as we move into our new RV.

🎉 Our New RV = Our Vibe

This next chapter?

It’s all about:

  • Fun
  • Freedom
  • Intention
  • Living life our way
  • NBC Sunday morning watching without being bugged by guests!! IFKYK

Our new RV isn’t just a vehicle—it’s a lifestyle shift. A space that reflects who we are becoming.

🚛 Big Plans Ahead

And speaking of change…

Mark is already talking about buying a truck within the next month 😅
Which means… yes… I have to sit down and crunch numbers (not my favorite thing in the world).

But we’re doing it—for our future.

After that?

🏡 Land purchase is next
(And thankfully, I already have the funds ready—just waiting for the right timing.)

☀️ Make Your Sunday Mean Something

So here’s your reminder today:

Enjoy your Sunday.
Create your own traditions.
Find your “Sunday mug”—whatever that looks like for you.

Make it meaningful. Make it yours.

And just know…

💛 ME Gone RVing Adventures is cheering you on every step of the way.

A Night with Senxao at Peery’s Egyptian Theater

🎶 A Night with Senxao at Peery’s Egyptian Theater 💃✨

On April 7th, 2025, Mark and I had the chance to experience something truly special—a live performance by Senxao, a vibrant Latin band from Salt Lake City, at the beautiful Peery’s Egyptian Theater.

And let me just say… we LOVED it.

🎤 Who is Senxao?

Senxao has made a name for themselves in both the Latin music scene and the multilingual party scene, bringing energy, rhythm, and connection to every crowd they perform for.

Formed in 2018, the band is led by Venezuelan singer/songwriter Nayi Escalona, whose accomplishments are nothing short of impressive. From being elected to the Latin Grammys to winning Va Por Ti on Univision and Televisa, his talent shines both nationally and internationally.

And it shows on stage.

🎭 The Venue & The Mission

The concert took place at Peery’s Egyptian Theater, which offers free concerts in partnership with the Excellence in the Community organization.

We absolutely LOVE what they’re doing.

These events are designed to:
✔️ Make high-quality live music accessible to everyone
✔️ Support local Utah artists
✔️ Create community connection
✔️ Provide family-friendly cultural experiences

For us, one of the best parts is how these concerts introduce younger generations to theater life in a welcoming and fun way. That matters.

THEATER BOOK FOR "KIDS" fun gift for theater NEW kids....

💃 The Best Part? The Energy!

Now here’s the fun part…

Mark and I do not speak Spanish.
Did that stop us? Not even a little 😅

Because music like this?
👉 You don’t need to understand the words to feel it.

The absolute highlight of the night was the audience participation. People were dancing, smiling, and just completely immersed in the experience—and we were right there loving every minute of it.

There’s something so special about being in a room where everyone is connected through music, no matter the language.

😄 Real Talk…

Also… let’s just say…
Senxao is pretty easy on the eyes too 😳😂

(blushing over here)

💛 Final Thoughts

This night was everything we love about live music:

✨ High energy
✨ Community connection
✨ Cultural experience
✨ Pure joy

If you ever get the chance to see Senxao live…

👉 GO SEE THEM.

You won’t regret it.

We came super early so we'd get our seats of choice

Date Night Chronicles: The Bathroom Mishap & Movie Night Magic

 Let’s start with this…

Mark goes to the bathroom.
So? Who cares, RIGHT?

Well… apparently every woman already in that bathroom cared 😳🚪

Without thinking, Mark walks in… and within seconds realizes—
“oh crap”… and yes, literally 😂💀

Wrong bathroom. Full realization. Immediate panic.

But here’s the real problem…
👉 It’s not just about getting out.
👉 It’s about getting out without being seen by ME… his wife… the one who will absolutely cackle about it.

And ohhh… he was right 😅

The second I found out?
Cue the laughing. The blushing. The “you did WHAT?!” moment.
One of those memories that will live forever in our marriage highlight reel.

🍿 Movie Time: Reminders of Him

Once we recovered (somewhat) from the laughter, we made our way to our seats for our Monday night tradition.

This week’s movie: Reminders of Him

And honestly?
🎬 Good film
🎬 Not quite Oscar-worthy
🎬 But the storytelling? Really strong

The actors did a fantastic job, and we were especially blown away by 6-year-old Zoe Kosovic—she is going places. Seriously, big things ahead for her. 🌟

And can we talk about Lauren Graham?
We really wish she would do more movies—she’s always such a solid presence on screen.

🎥 Our Go-To Spot: Megaplex at The Junction

If you know us, you know this…

Megaplex at The Junction is OUR place. 💛

✔️ Amazing staff
✔️ Great experience every time
✔️ And the BEST part… reward points!

Right now we’re sitting at 72,283 points 🙌
We’re saving them for our new Christmas tradition:

🎄 4 movies in ONE day

We did it last year and LOVED it—so now it’s officially our thing.

And let’s be real…
When tickets can hit around $160+ and food/snacks close to $120 😳
👉 Those points make a BIG difference

We’re almost at 3 free tickets, and we are celebrating that win!

📅 Why Mondays Just Work

Here’s a little tip for fellow RV travelers:

👉 Go to the movies on Mondays

It’s quiet.
It’s relaxed.
It feels like you have the whole place to yourself.

And for us? It’s the only day we truly get to step away from campground life and just be us again.

🎬 A Thought for the Future…

We even joked (okay… maybe not fully joking 😏) about turning our RV renovation into a movie theme someday.

Because let’s be honest…
Between moments like the “bathroom incident” and our love for storytelling…

👉 We’ve got content for DAYS 😂

Maybe not right now… but who knows what the future holds?

💛 Final Thoughts

This is what our date nights look like:

A little chaos
A lot of laughter
A shared love for movies
And memories we’ll never forget

Because at the end of the day…
It’s not about perfection.

It’s about these moments.

Mondays, Moments, and Moving Forward, and Wishing for a BRAND DEAL

There’s something sacred about carving out time that belongs just to you—and for us, that time is Mondays.

While we’re workamping at Willard Peak Campground, Mondays (and sometimes Sundays) are the only days we can truly step away. Otherwise, if our truck is seen on the property, it’s assumed we’re available—always ready to serve, always “on.” So we’ve made a promise to ourselves: Mondays are date nights. No exceptions.

Once our 5th wheel renovation is complete, we’re looking forward to reclaiming Sundays too. But for now, Mondays are our reset. Our pause. Our reminder of why we’re doing all of this in the first place.

A Simple Kind of Perfect

This week’s date night wasn’t extravagant. No big adventures. No splurging.

Because right now, our “fun budget” is reserved for one thing:
🎬 Two hours in a movie theater with NO cell phones.

But honestly? We didn’t need anything fancy.

We wandered through Trader Joe’s, picked up a few sale items, and found a quiet park. No crowds. No interruptions. No one listening in. Just the two of us—talking.

And sometimes, that’s everything.

We talked about our progress.
We talked about what still needs to be done.
We talked about how to move things forward… faster, smarter, better.

The Dream vs. Reality

Like so many people living this lifestyle, we found ourselves talking about the dream.

The brands that could reach out.
The opportunities that seem just out of reach.
The idea of getting paid to travel, create, and share our journey.

But then reality gently taps you on the shoulder…

We need more growth on our social media—Me Gone RVing Adventures.
We need better equipment (or at least… I need to unpack the equipment we already have 😅).
We’re pulled in a lot of directions right now.

And sometimes, it feels like maybe… it’s just a dream.

A “maybe someday.”

Or maybe not at all.

And That’s Okay

Because here’s the truth we came back to that night:

Even if none of that happens…
Even if no brands ever reach out…
Even if it never turns into anything bigger…

👉 This is still worth it.

The conversations.
The quiet moments.
The growth.
The partnership.

If all we ever do is document this life for ourselves, then that alone is enough. Everything else? That’s just icing on the cake.

If you don't have a Trader Joe's,
  GET THIS INSTEAD

The Little Joys Matter Too

And speaking of icing on the cake…

Let’s just pretend Trader Joe’s sponsored our date night 😂

Because those Strawberry Vanilla Prebiotic drinks?
Absolutely worth mentioning.

Simple things. Small treats. Shared laughs.

That’s the good stuff.

Small Steps. Big Vision.

We may not have it all figured out.
We may feel pulled in a hundred directions.
We may still be chasing something that feels far away…

But we’re moving forward.

Together.

And that’s what matters most.

When Easter Didn’t Go As Planned… RV Life Update

 Hey friends,

So… let’s talk about Easter Sunday.

It didn’t exactly go the way we planned.

We’re so thankful for the long-term folks here at the park—we really are—but yesterday was one of those days where boundaries just weren’t respected. Every time I picked up the paint gun and got into a groove… I got interrupted. Over and over again.

And not for emergencies.

We’re talking questions about RV parts, help with things people could’ve handled themselves… things we’re not even being paid to do. And after a couple of hours of that stop-and-go, I hit a wall.

I was overwhelmed. Frustrated. Yep… a little grumpy.

So I finally looked at Mark and said, “I need out.”
And we left the park so I could reset.

Because sometimes—you just have to step away.

But here’s the good news… progress IS happening 🙌

✔️ The living room is DONE (finally!)
🎯 Next up: bedroom and bathroom
🎨 We’ve already gone through 4 cans of primer—and we’re probably looking at 2 more to finish it all up

And honestly? The fun part is starting to sneak in.

We’ve got décor, trim, and all the pretty finishing pieces coming in… and they’re just sitting there in boxes waiting for their moment. It’s like Christmas… but we’re not allowed to open the presents yet 😂

Moving forward, we’ve got a plan:

➡️ 4–6 hours every Sunday dedicated to the remodel
➡️ Stay consistent
➡️ Keep pushing forward no matter what

We’re aiming for a May 1st finish—and I really do think we can get there.

BUT…

The biggest stress right now? The kitchen countertop.

We have to hire that out, and let me tell you… getting people to call back or even give a quote has been frustrating beyond belief.

And one quote we DID get?

$800 per rocking chair… just for two cushions… and I provide the fabric?!

Yeah… no. That was an easy decision 😅

Where we got the PLASTIC FROM

Utah has been a little tough when it comes to finding reliable service work, but honestly—it’s pushing us to learn things ourselves. And that’s been kind of empowering.

We’re growing in ways we didn’t expect.

Because this isn’t just about remodeling an RV…

This is about a dream.

We want to boondock.
We want to save money.
And we want to use that freedom to serve others while we’re on the road.

Not out of vanity—but out of purpose.

To get there, we’ve got some big goals we’re working toward:

✨ Growing Me Gone RVing Adventures on social media
✨ Hitting our investment targets
✨ Building TravelingTownCrier.com to at least 6 solid clients
✨ And finding a strong remote sales role (because seriously—Mark is AMAZING on the phones)

The hardest part right now?

Finding two solid days off each week to focus on OUR goals… so the other five days of workamping can run smoothly.

That balance… it’s not easy.

But one of the best parts of this journey?

The people.

We’re meeting other full-time RVers who are all figuring this life out, just like we are. And there’s something really special about encouraging each other, learning from each other, and just being in it together.

This life isn’t always easy.

But it’s real.
It’s stretching us.
It’s growing us.

And it’s worth it.

Small steps. Big vision. We’re getting there. 💛🚐
