🎶 A Night with Senxao at Peery’s Egyptian Theater 💃✨
On April 7th, 2025, Mark and I had the chance to experience something truly special—a live performance by Senxao, a vibrant Latin band from Salt Lake City, at the beautiful Peery’s Egyptian Theater.
And let me just say… we LOVED it.
🎤 Who is Senxao?
Senxao has made a name for themselves in both the Latin music scene and the multilingual party scene, bringing energy, rhythm, and connection to every crowd they perform for.
Formed in 2018, the band is led by Venezuelan singer/songwriter Nayi Escalona, whose accomplishments are nothing short of impressive. From being elected to the Latin Grammys to winning Va Por Ti on Univision and Televisa, his talent shines both nationally and internationally.
And it shows on stage.
🎭 The Venue & The Mission
The concert took place at Peery’s Egyptian Theater, which offers free concerts in partnership with the Excellence in the Community organization.
We absolutely LOVE what they’re doing.
These events are designed to:
✔️ Make high-quality live music accessible to everyone
✔️ Support local Utah artists
✔️ Create community connection
✔️ Provide family-friendly cultural experiences
For us, one of the best parts is how these concerts introduce younger generations to theater life in a welcoming and fun way. That matters.

Mark and I do not speak Spanish.
Did that stop us? Not even a little 😅
Because music like this?
👉 You don’t need to understand the words to feel it.
The absolute highlight of the night was the audience participation. People were dancing, smiling, and just completely immersed in the experience—and we were right there loving every minute of it.
There’s something so special about being in a room where everyone is connected through music, no matter the language.
