If you need a quiet beautiful place to run to with a 360 degree perfect scenery. Mantua is a short drive from our Willard Peak Campground job. So when things get stressed or we just need a break, a short drive and a major walk around the water is the perfect medicine for us.
Mantua, Utah is popular for a number of reasons, including its reservoir, poppy fields, and Danish heritage:
Mantua Reservoir
A small town with a lake and reservoir that's popular for water sports like kayaking, boating, and water skiing. The reservoir also has a swimming beach, picnic areas, campground, and hiking trails.
Mantua poppy fields
- A popular photography spot in Northern Utah that features bright orange poppies and yellow wildflowers. The poppies bloom in early June and only last for a couple of weeks.
- Danish heritage
- Mantua's Danish heritage is preserved in its brightly colored doors and buildings, and thatched roofed homes. The town's nickname is "Little Copenhagen".
- Location
- Mantua is nestled in a canyon between Brigham City and Logan.
- Wildlife
- Mantua's mountain surroundings provide a rich environment for a variety of wildlife, including moose, cougar, deer, and snakes

As Me Gone RVing Adventures makes more memories, we do have to slow it down a bit, for health and budget reasons. So we are going to continue to do simple fun things that cost little to no money at all. This will allow us to do more when we are able to hit the road again. (5 year plan but we know in the RV world that means nothing).
